Curriculum Approval

The Scope is the school's learning pathway for all of its students. It enumerates each required and elective course at each grade level. We utilize the Scope to get an overview of the school's subjects to ensure it meets our minimum standards.

The Sequence is a detailed look into each course taught at the school. It contains books and online materials as well as topics covered, instruction time, and methods used. We review the sequence thoroughly to ensure appropriate topics are covered in each course.

Our verification team carefully reviews every Scope & Sequence to ensure it meets our standards. Once the review is complete, the school will receive a letter from verification@royalhollow.com with our impressions and comments about the presented curriculum.

If a school fails to meet our expectations, they will receive a remediation letter from our verification team. This letter enumerates the deficiencies found in the curriculum. A school will then be given the opportunity to create and implement a remediation plan and be given another chance at Approval.
